Benjamin CHANDLER

August 23, 2006

CHANDLER, Benjamin Lorne It is with hurting hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one Ben. He died suddenly on his motorcycle in an accident Sunday, August 20, 2006. His Spirit now begins his journey in the heavens. Ben was born in Red Deer on May 30, 1983, and was raised in Sylvan Lake where he lived most of his life. He lived his life passionately and on the edge, no half measures for Ben. He loved skateboarding and snowboarding, fishing, golfing and spending time at our cabin in the mountains. Ben loved to work hard at his only career - working service rigs for Precision Well Servicing. He stood at the gates of our world in November 2004 when critically injured at work, however stayed another 20 months with us, only to cross over on Sunday. Ben loved deeply and honestly, and loved spending time with his family. His intelligence, wit and humor have not gone unnoticed by everyone whom his life has touched. Please light a candle for Ben and send him loving energy. Ben will always be remembered by his family and friends with love in our hearts. They include his mother Jan Chandler and brother Cody; his father Don (Rhonda) Chandler and family as well as his grandparents Lorne Chandler and Elaine Sterling. A celebration of Ben’s life will be held at the Sylvan Lake Gospel Chapel on Thursday, August 24 at 2:00 P.M. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium. If desired, memorial donations can be made in Ben’s honor to the Central Alberta Brain Injury Society. SYLVAN LAKE AND ROCKY FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORIUM, your Golden Rule Funeral Homes, entrusted with the arrangements. 403-887-2151
