STEENBERGEN, Bernice On January 9, 2009 Bernice Steenbergen was suddenly called home into the presence of Jesus her Saviour after a 4 1/2 year struggle with "Primary Pulmonary Hypertension." She was born in Lindsay, ON on August 31, 1958. Bernice is lovingly remembered by her husband Henry and her children Melinda (Sean), Dan & Kristen, Josh (Kristin) and Ben. Also by her parents Bert & Marie VandenBerg and her siblings Marilyn & Dick, Phil & Jannetta, Bruce & Sharon. Also by her mother-in-law Alice Steenbergen and brothers/sisters-in-law Bill & Karen, Peter & Jan, Fanny & Nick, Marg & Jess, Alina & Ralph, and Hilma. Also by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Patty and father-in-law Lubbert Steenbergen. Bernice had a real gift for making people feel loved and accepted and also an amazing gift of artistic creativity. A celebration of Bernice's life will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 1:00 pm at New Life Fellowship Church on 77th St. (1 block west of Gaetz).
