Mrs. Beryl Friedenberg passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the age of 97 years. Born Beryl Joan Baker on May 24, 1925, in Oxted, Surrey, England. Beryl immigrated to Canada as a war bride in 1946. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Karl Friedenberg, in 2001, her beloved son, David Satterfield, in 2021, and her sister, Joyce Verrall, and brother, Jack Baker. Beryl will be sorrowfully missed by her daughter, Sandra Bellerose, of Edmonton, Alberta. Beryl will also be missed by her two nephews, Colin and Andrew Verrall of England. Beryl will be fondly remembered as a special friend by June Mattheis, Shirley Willis, Dick Huddleston, and Margaret Elm, along with their families. Beryl's Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Heartland Funeral Services, 4415 49 St, Innisfail, Alberta.
