DARLING Betty Rachel Jean 1930 - 2009 Betty passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years with her loving family by her side. Betty was born in Kinistino, Saskatchewan on December 26, 1930 and lived the early part of her life in the Chauvin district. In 1949 Betty married George Darling from Edgerton. She is survived by her daughter Tannis (Don) Murray of Red Deer; 2 sons Ron (Debbie), Dwayne (Margaret), Margaret's daughter Leslie Strickland all of Calgary; 1 granddaughter Rachel Murray of Red Deer; 3 sisters Bernice (Frank) Kisio of Calgary, Margaret (Bob) Polloway of Beaumont, Carol (Eugene) Bogart of Wainwright; Larry Kenyon of Calgary; 10 nieces, nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her husband George Darling and her parents Adam & Mary Spence. Funeral Services for the late Betty Darling will be held at the Chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Interment to take place at the Sylvan Lake Cemetery.
