Douglas William McDonell passed away at home, on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 92 years.
Bill was born on January 22, 1927 at Gilby, Alberta and lived most of his life in Eckville, AB.
His favorite pastime was fishing, quading, hunting and visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Lawrence, Clarence (Emy), Brian and Marilyn all of Eckville, his grandchildren Angie (Brynie) Schroderus, Dustin (Taren) McDonell, Dylan McDonell, Sandra (Jamie) McDonell, Dwane (Crystal) McInnes and eight great grandchildren.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Mora, his sister Marie Smith, his wife Hazel (Wulff) and Vera (Bablitz). At Bill's request there will be no service.
