CUNNINGHAM Black Watch Corporal John Cunningham passed away on June 27, 2008 at Markham, ON, at the age of 78. John was born in Levensise, Scotland. He came to Canada with his wife, Ruth and family to Red Deer, AB, September, 1966. John took the world champion gold metal at Kimberley, B.C. many times for accordian playing. John leaves to mourn, his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Catherine and Audrey; a son, James; 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. John was predeceased by a son, John, and two grandchildren in August 1979. There will be a memorial mass for John for anyone wishing to pay their condolences at Sacred Heart Parish Church on July 17 at 9 a.m.
