It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Blair Alan Weishaar at the Foothills Hospital on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the age of 49 years. Blair was born in Drayton Valley, AB, on June 26, 1965. He spent his working years in the oilfields of Alberta, Cuba and the Middle East. Blair and Nicole resided in Penhold and finally settled on their acreage in Spruce View. Blair had a love of horsepower getting him involved in tractor pulling and ski-dooing. He loved camping and spending time with family and friends. Blair will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by his wife, Nicole, two daughters; Amanda and Breanna of Calgary, one grandson, Damian of Calgary, mother and father-in-law; Doug and Barb Plastow of Red Deer. He was predeceased by his daughter, Marie, as well as his parents; Victor and Maxine. A Funeral Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer, on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Alto Reste Cemetery. After the burial, the family would like to invite family and friends to a celebration "Blair Style" at the home of Blair and Nicole.
