HOLDEN Born on January 4, 1924, Sarah (Sally) Holden was the life and heart of her family until she left them on September 19, 2004. Mum, you are forever locked in the memories of daughter Trish and husband Barry, son Bill and wife Linda, son Todd and wife Tracy. She has left us to join Bob, her husband of 57 years. Nana had an unending supply of love and energy which she lavished on her grandchildren Andrew and Donnalee, Jenn and Colin, Shaun and Angela, Toryn, Alex. Their memories will store her singing them to sleep, playing catch, riding bikes, walking in the park, reading books, singing Happy Birthday over the phone, and many, many other activities. They will have to impart these memories to great grandchildren, Payton and Harrison and those yet to come. No matter what the task, Sally did it quickly, as well as capably and efficiently. She was an asset to schools in both Medicine Hat and Red Deer where she worked as a teacher's aide, gaining love and respect from teachers, students and parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 24, 2004 at 2:00 PM from the Heartland Chapel of Stettler Funeral Home, 4707 - 70th Street, Stettler, Alberta.
