MACAULAY Born on November 11, 1931 in Lethbridge, Hilda Elsie MacAulay passed away on February 2, 2005 at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre. Predeceased by her mother Annalina Kuhn and father Kurt (Claude) Kurze, Hilda is survived by her husband of 46 years Gordon; sister June Cuthbertson; son Skip MacAulay; daughters Gerry MacAulay, Sue Reykdal, Christine Couture and Heather Hacior. Hilda also had three grandchildren Andy and Brendan Reykdal, and Elle Couture. Raised on a farm west of Bluffton, Hilda worked at the Rimbey Hotel, and later on in life at the Lacombe Golf and Country Club, and also at the Lacombe Curling Rink. While raising a family of 5, Hilda also found time to volunteer much of her spare time to local figure skating clubs for over 12 years. In her latter life, Hilda could be found enjoying coffee and conversation with friends at the local A&W or in her garden tending to her many flowers and plants. May the winds of love blow softly and whisper so you'll hear, "We will always love and miss you and wish that you were here."
