IRWIN, Brian 1958 - 2008 On September 23, 2008 at the age of 49, Brian Charles Irwin passed away in the arms of his wife, daughters, and friends. He gave cancer a completely new meaning of courageous. He will be sorely missed as a beloved soul mate, unbelievable father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. Brian's generous demeanor was larger than life itself. In every aspect of his being, he lived, loved, played, worked and shared his friendship with his circle of true friends. Brian always embraced his daughters Haley and Lindsey (Helmer) with unconditional love and support second to none. His passion for life held no boundaries and he genuinely befriended all who had the opportunity to meet him. Brian valued his family and friendships immensely and was never one to take anything for granted. Our lives are forever enriched with those special times and unbelievable holidays. Brian's spirit will live on with all who loved him and no words can describe how he will be missed by family, relatives, and countless friends. He is survived by the love of his life, Debbie and daughters Haley, Lindsey (Helmer) / Ryan Burlock. Mother, Eva Irwin, mother-in-law, Phyllis Jensen, brothers/in-laws, Carl (Mei-ling) Irwin, Dwane (Shelly) Makowski, Sisters; Gwen (Richard) Irwin, Jill Irwin, Barb (John) Aitken, Shirley (Travis) Hagen. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Brian was pre- deceased by his father Jack Charles Irwin. A Celebration of Brian's life will be held at the Crossroads Ministries, 32nd Street and Queen Elizabeth II Highway, Red Deer, Alberta, on Friday, September 26th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. At Brian's caring request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Haley Irwin Trust Fund.
