BRIDEAU, 1958 - 2007 Anna-Mary Brideau, of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Hospice, Red Deer on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the age of 48 years following a courageous battle with cancer. Anna-Mary was born November 28, 1958 at Tracadie, New Brunswick. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her bright smile, generous spirit and most of all for her love of family. Anna-Mary will leave a big void in her circle of friends. Her personal strength and her readiness to support others are among her numerous qualities. Her investment in volunteer work in the community and especially in the preservation of francophone education has led her to be widely known across the province. Anna-Mary leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband, Lionel Brideau, her son, Alexandre Brideau and her daughter, Janelle Brideau all of Red Deer and her mother, Marquerite Savoie of Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick. Anna-Mary is also survived by her brother, Hedard Savoie of Tracadie-Sheila, N.B., her six sisters, Brenda Landry of Tracadie-Sheila, N.B., Linda Defour of Cap-Pete, N.B, Paula Savoie of Sediac River, N.B., Ginette Sovier of Tracadie- Sheila, N.B., Lorraine Desjardins and Marilyne Woodside both of Moncton, N.B. She was predeceased by her father, Alexandre Savoie, her brother, Roger Savoie and her nephew, Christian Gallien. A Public Celebration of Anna-Mary's life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
