1959 - 2009
Mr. Calvin Wesley Thomas was suddenly called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 7th, 2009. Calvin was born in Consort on November 27th, 1959. He met and married the love of his life Jennifer on April 9th, 1994. Calvin attended school in Trochu. For the past nineteen years he worked and resided in Red Deer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Calvin leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his wife, Jennifer Lynne (Pickering) Thomas, three sisters, Judy (Jim) Bauer, Sharon (Neil) Congo, and Marilyn (Miles) Smith, father-in-law, Douglas Hart Pickering, sisters-in-law, Karen (Jim) Bell and Margaret Balding, brother-in-law, Douglas (Kelly) Pickering, along with fifteen nephews, and nieces, as well as numerous extended family members. Calvin was predeceased by his father and his mother Wesley and Anne Thomas. A Funeral Service will be held for Calvin at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer, Alberta, on Saturday, November 14th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to be held at the Trochu Cemetery, Trochu, Alberta at 3:00 p.m. If desired, donations can be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta #101, 5208 - 53rd Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 5K2.
