CHRISTIANSEN Carl Gordon In Loving memory of Gordon Christiansen, who was born May 29, 1919 at Dickson, Alberta and passed away March 8, 2009 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by Helen, his wife of 65 years, their children: Diane (Jim) Franssen, David (Marilyn) Christiansen, and Glenda (Norm) Perry, and grandchildren: Patrick (Heather) Franssen, Leigh Franssen (Gilles Pettit), Phillip Franssen, Jesse (Leah) Christiansen, Mark (Avey) Christiansen, Jena (Jaden) Klassen, and Joseph Perry, and one great grandchild: Hannah Franssen. Gordon also cherished and will be remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Carl and Laura Christiansen, his siblings: Homo (Christine) Christiansen, Esther (Harold) Mogensen, Bernice Christiansen, Eva (Ejler) Castella, infant son Glen, and nephews: Harvey Mogensen, and Allan Christiansen. Funeral Services will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, Dickson, Alberta on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend R. Fiege officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Camp Kuriakos, the Dickson Store Museum, or a charity of choice.
