Carol Ann
Carol Ann Soderquist, born January 28, 1937 in Leslieville, Alberta, passed away at her home in Red Deer on May 17, 2012 at the age of 75 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Wally (Jan) Benoit of Vernon, BC, Darcy Benoit of Red Deer, AB, Don (Deanna) Benoit of Sundre, AB, Sabrina (Gilles) Benoit of Victoria, BC and Darin (Cara) Benoit of Yellowknife, NWT; stepchildren, Doug Soderquist of Cranbrook, BC, Lisa Soderquist of Calgary, AB and Randy (Deanna) Soderquist of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, James Benoit of Victoria, BC; Cole, of Vancouver, BC; Garret and Damon Benoit of Yellowknife, NWT; Kristin Benoit of Calgary, AB; and Laura Benoit of Vancouver, BC; and by her sister, Marie (Gene) Kulsky. Carol is predececeased by her parents, Benjamin and Dorothy Johnson; sister, Betty Thomas; and by her brother, Howard "Ben" Johnson. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to long time family friends, Bob and Marg Mains, for their loving support of Carol and Darcy. A heartfelt thank you to Carol’s sister, Marie and her husband Gene Kulsky for all of their support and for the planning of the memorial service. A Memorial Service will be hosted by Marie and Gene Kulsky on Saturday, June 23 in Calgary. Cremation entrusted to the Red Deer Funeral Home.
