Carolyn PIEDT

PIEDT, Carolyn Carolyn Piedt, beloved wife of Fred Piedt of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Sunday, November 14, 2004 at the age of 62 years. Carolyn was born on May 5, 1942 at Biggar, Saskatchewan. Carolyn was a loving, gracious and very caring lady who gave unselfishly helping others and actively volunteered with Lifeline and through the hospital. She also loved to sing and enjoyed quilting. Carolyn leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband, Fred, her daughters, Liane Piedt of Calgary, Alberta and Teresa (Deryl) Halvorsen of Lethbridge, Alberta and her grandsons, Connor and Alex. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Zella (Russ) Purdy of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and June (Don) Saunders of Biggar, Saskatchewan, her brother Colin (Marion) Thomson of Lethbridge and her foster sister, Darlene Atkinson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Marion Thomson, two sisters, Catherine Sullivan and Virginia Fisher and a brother, Roderick Thomson. A Celebration of Carolyn's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date at the Biggar Cemetery, Biggar, Saskatchewan.
