CASTELLAN 1927 - 2009 Mr. Peter David Castellan beloved husband of Mrs. Reta Castellan of Red Deer passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Peter was born on April 9, 1927 at Arzene, Pordenone, Italy. Raised in Italy and arrived in Toronto, Canada in January 1950. He was a self employed painter / decorator in Toronto for 40 years and retired and moved to Red Deer in 1993. Totally enjoyed his gardening, his lawn and loved following sports. He is survived by his two daughters, Julie (Rick) Hutchins of Red Deer, Alberta, Kathy (Bill) Maiato of Brampton, Ontario, a brother Attillio (Gloria) Castellan of Toronto, Ontario, four grandchildren, Andrew (Taryn) Hutchins, Derek Hutchins both of Red Deer, Alberta, Nicole (Darryl) Dukelaw, David Maiato both of Brampton, Ontario. He is predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Maria Castellan, his sister, Bruna Fedrigo a brother-in-law, John Fedgrigo. A memorial service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
