PERCY, Catherine Mrs. Catherine Margaret 'Irene' Percy of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 31, 2004 at the age of 79 years. Catherine was born on March 25, 1925 at Winnipeg, Manitoba. Irene was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. Her quiet and gentle spirit and was always very approachable to those around her. Irene will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and cherished in the hearts of her family and dear friends. Irene leaves to mourn her loss, her loving daughter, Maureen and her husband, Peter Wass of Lacombe, Alberta, her granddaughter, Rachel and her grandson, Adam, as well as many caring and devoted friends. Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband, Howie in 1974. A Funeral Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend James F. Heller officiating. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Following the Funeral Service all are cordially invited to join the family for a time of remembrance and a Luncheon which will be held upstairs in the Family Reception Area of Eventide Funeral Chapel.
