WALTERSON Catherine Martha (nee Young) Jan. 1, 1922 - Mar. 4, 2009 The family deeply regrets to announce the passing of our dear mother in her sleep at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn her three sons Warren (Gloria Ross), Richard, Joe (Pat) and daughter Bonnie (Lorne) Cameron along with seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, mother, one son, Wally, her sister and brother. Catherine lost her own mother at age 8 and grew up in tough times becoming very feisty to which she remained until passing. To those who knew her well, that exterior toughness translated into a giving hand when it was most needed. At Catherine's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A graveside memorial will be held at a later date. Special thank you to Dr. Peter Mah and the nurses on Unit 33 at RDRH and to the Rimbey Care Centre for all the excellent care.
