Cathy Thompson Cathy (nee Crooker) was born on May 5, 1955 and passed away on May 6, 2009 at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Center after a lengthy illness. Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Wayne; son, Craig; daughter, Christine Swift (Don); mother, Joyce Baird; sisters, Joann Swarbrick (Calvin), Sandra Crooker, Laurie Whitecotton (Marty), Danita Hunt (Don) and Denise Watson (Tyrone); mother-in-law Marie Thompson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David Thompson, Larry Thompson (Ski), Valerie Dillon (Will), Ryan Thompson (Tracy) and Cathy Hansen (Martin); as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Fred Crooker. A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home.
