WALTON Cecil George Walton of Pine Lake, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Innisfail Hospital on February 12, 2005 at the age of 84. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Cecil was born September 12, 1920 at Innisfail, Alberta. In his younger years Cecil worked in sawmills in Rocky Mountain House in the winters and helped his father on the farm in the summers. He started farming full time in 1942. In 1957 he purchased his parents farm and has lived there until his passing. Cecil was predeceased by his mother Phemie in 1964, his father George in 1972, his sister Lillian in 1992 and brother-in-laws Allan Anderson in 1974 and Borge Nielsen in 1993. He is survived by his two sisters Marion Nielsen of Innisfail and Marjorie Fuller of Qualicum Beach B.C. and one brother Bob Walton of Penhold, brother-in-law Stan Cox of Edmonton, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Pine Lake Hub Centre on February 17, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Holy Trinity Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations in Cecil's memory may be made to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
