With deepest sorrow, we give notice that Chance unexpectedly passed away on June 14, 2019, at the age of 28. He passed away with his family and closest friends by his side.
Chance was born in Red Deer, AB. He excelled at all sports, especially hockey, and his greatest love, snowboarding. He was most at home when outdoors: fishing, hiking, hunting and playing with his beloved dogs, Tombo and Rosa. Chance never passed up an adventure and was always up for a good time. He loved riding his motorcycle and cruising the countryside.
Chance will be deeply missed by his father, Grant Taylor; step-father, Rene Deschamps; brothers, Chris Gunsch (Tara), Nick Gunsch (Dee-Anna); his nieces and nephews, Casey, Jesse, Madison, Mason and Morgan. Chance was predeceased by his beloved mother Colleen Deschamps.
Also left to grieve his loss is his loving grandmother Gene, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; along with his closest friends, Devin Knafelc, Cayle Olson, Josh Edquist (Jenny), Jacob Wagner, Kerrie Wagner, and Mike Cormack. A Celebration of Chance's Life will be held on Friday June 21, 2019 at 2 pm. at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, Lacombe. Please join us in continuing the celebration, following the service, at a separate location. Address will be announced.
