It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Edward Nolan wishes to announce that he passed away unexpectedly and peacefully with his family by his side, at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the age of 89.
Charles was born May 28, 1932, to William and Helen Nolan in Lethbridge, Alberta, the middle son of three.
Charlie married the love of his life Myrna Gusek on January 25, 1958, they had 63 years of marriage.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife Myrna (Gusek) Nolan, daughter Charlotte and Scott Nelson, daughter Kristen and Mike Vig, son Tom and Marilyn Nolan, grandchildren Ryan & Kelsey, Blair & Heather, Paul & Ping, Amber & Adam, Katelynn & Brandon, Austin & Marissa and Thomas, 10 great grandchildren. Brother Albert & June Nolan, brothers and sister-in-law's of the Gusek family, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and an abundance of friends.
Charles is predeceased by his parents William and Helen Nolan, his brother Glen and sister-in-law Beverly Nolan.
Family Graveside Service to be held at the Lacombe Cemetery on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.
A larger Celebration of Life will be held when Covid-19 restrictions allow.
