SCOTT, Charles Frederick The family of Charles Scott sadly announce his passing at his home in Bowden on June 29, 2004. He was born in this same house 71 years earlier on November 19, 1932. He resided in Bowden his entire life and enjoyed many friends there. He worked at the Bowden Institute and moved on to Social Services in Red Deer until his retirement in 1994. Upon retirement he became involved with the Bowden Museum Society donating many hours to assist in its completion. He enjoyed traveling across Canada and the United States. Charles was predeceased by his mother Eva in 1990 and his father Percy in 1994. He is survived by his uncle Brine Johnston and his cousins Barb Thomson, Carol Ehrman, Jim Johnston, Doug Johnston, Diane Luxten, Ron Johnston, Anne Matthews and Burit Galloway. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Anglican Church, Bowden, AB with Tim McBeth officiating. Memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. As a tribute to Charles Scott, a tree will be planted in the Heartland Tree Memorial Park, Innisfail.
