Passed away peacefully at the age of 78. Charlotte was born in Vancouver, BC, Oct. 18, 1940, moving to Alberta in 1964. In July 1967 she met her future husband Ralph Bolze at the Valley Centre BBQ, later marrying, Jan. 12, 1968. After the wedding Charlotte settled into farming at the Bolze farm in Valley Centre. She became quite active in community events and was always prepared to lend a hand wherever needed. She worked for several years at her Mum and sister's concession at the Greyhound Station. Her favourite hobbies are knitting and crocheting.
Charlotte is survived by her sons Charles and Peter of Edmonton, sisters Joanne (Ralph) of Red Deer, Dianne (Maurice) of Colburg, Ont., Denise (Trent) and Deborah both of Red Deer, special friend Toni (Paul) and her family of Valley Centre, sisters in law Margaret and Evelyn Bolze and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Ralph (2011), brothers in law Fred and Herman Bolze, her mother Ethel Ferguson and father David Mackay. The family is eternally grateful to the staff at Maple House Community Cottage for their loving care.
A memorial service will be held at the Valley Centre Community Hall, Saturday, Nov. 02, 2019 at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Deer Alzheimer's Society.
