CHEN Mr. Shu Huai Chen of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Hospice Society, Red Deer on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the age of 69 years. He was born on May 22, 1940 in Canton, China. Mr. Chen is survived by his loving and caring wife, Mrs. Chiu O Chen, son, John (Zao Lin) Chen and their son Michael, daughter, Nora Jones and her children Alex and Shaina all of Red Deer, daughter, Evonne (Kevin Ly) Chen and their children, Terence and Jasmine all of Calgary, his brothers, Shu Yang Chen of China, Shu Pei Chen of Red Deer, his brothers-in-law, Scott Xu of Edmonton and Ying Huang Xu of China and his relative, Yuan Ming Lin of San Francisco. Mr. Chen was predeceased by his parents, Chi Bin Chen and Chu Kai Lei and his sister-in-law, Shu Ying Wong. A funeral service for the late Mr. Shu Huai Chen will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
