CHERNIAK On Saturday, January 12, 2008 Mr. Steve Cherniak of Red Deer passed away at the age of 67 years while working in the Edson area. Steve will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dianne and two sons Darren (Heather) of Sherwood Park and Dean of Calgary. His memory will be further cherished by four brothers: Walter (Eileen), Peter, Edward and George (Jackie); two sisters Anne (Harry) and Katie (John); sister-in-laws: Margaret, Victoria and Joyce. Steve will be fondly remembered by Dianne's family, a large extended family and many dear friends. Steve was predeceased by his parents John and Olga, brothers Maurice and Fred as well as sister-in-law Norma. A Funeral Mass for Steve Cherniak will be conducted from St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Paul Kavanagh Celebrant.
