DUFFIN/GRAHAM, Edith Mrs. Edith Louisa Graham, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, December 6, 2004, twenty-three days short of her 96th Birthday. Edith was born in Montreal, Quebec, the eldest of two daughters born to Isabella and Percy Hall. She was united in marriage to Alfred A. Duffin on October 7, 1931 and they resided in Ottawa, Ontario until Alf was transferred to Calgary, Alberta in April of 1940. Alf passed away in January of 1951. Two years later, Edith married Mackenzie Graham who farmed in the Lousana District. She resided on the farm until a few years after Mackenzie's death in 1988, at which time she moved from the farm to Red Deer, where she has resided until her passing. Edith is survived by her loving family, her three sons; Richard (Marette) Duffin, Lawrence (Eileen) Duffin and Victor (Gloria) Dufffin, eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Craig of Newcastle, Ontario, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Edith was predeceased by her first husband, Alfred, her second husband, Mackenzie, a brother-in-law, Sandy Craig and a special niece, Brenda Craig. A Celebration of Edith's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend John McKay officiating. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
