1984-2014
On November 21st, 2014 a radiant light, as bright as the sun, was diminished here on earth, but in the heavens there was a sudden, soft, and beautiful glow…. she had come home.
At 5:25 pm, Chloe Emary Kaniusis (Brown), of Condor Alberta, passed away in a motor vehicle accident on her way home after Christmas shopping with her mom. Chloe is the daughter of Mel and Brenda Brown, the loving wife of Larry Kaniusis, and the mom of Jaxon and Kessler. She is survived by her sister, Tannice (Jason) Stark and her nieces Sydnie, Kendyl and Talia. Chloe's Aunty Kim and Uncle Alex (Schaerer) meant everything to her along with her cousins, Logan and Emma. She was always loved and will be missed by many others, especially Larry's family,his mom, Lois, sisters Loretta (Jeff) Soppit Amanda, Jordan and Danny; Nancy (Brett) Laperriere - Brant, Brianna and Tori; and brother Dale (Michelle) - Drew and Dawson. She is also survived by her grandparents, Mary and George Brown, as well as numerous aunties, uncles and cousins. Chloe's friends were many. Chloe is predeceased by her grandmother and grandfather, Peter and Emily Farion, and cousin's Angela and Nicholas. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, November 30th, 2014 at 7:00 pm at St. Matthew Parish, Rocky Mountain House. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Chloe at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Father Christian Nwaigwe presiding. Interment will follow the Mass at Pine Grove Cemetery. All are welcome to join us afterwards at the Rocky Community Centre where Chloe will be honored.
Donations in memory of Chloe may be made to the Breakfast Program at Rocky Elementary or Alberta Children's Hospital. Because she lived for the game of baseball, Chloe would also say that a donation to the Rocky Recreational Department for athletes would be welcomed. I will not forget you.
