CHREST August 21, 1978 - July 4, 2009 Darby Adair Chrest, a generous, loving and passionate soul, passed away suddenly in Red Deer on July 4, 2009 at the age of 30 years. He is greatly missed by his soul-mate Olivia Knight; his parents Brenda and Dennis; his brother and best friend Shelby and sister-in-law Alicia and nieces Kennedy and Keaton. This talented and caring man is also remembered with love by his extended family and his many friends. Like most young men, Darby had many passions in life, especially golfing, bowling and camping. Though missing out on hitting the elusive hole-in-one, Darby is one of few people to bowl the perfect game - a feat still to be matched by other members of the Chrest clan. As well as representing Alberta in the TSN Pins Game, he won multiple Youth Bowling Canada Championships. Despite being busy with his many hobbies, Darby always kept family as his top priority and rarely missed eighteen holes or ten frames with his mother, father and brother. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Olds. Memorial donations may be made directly to the ALS Society.
