December 13, 2021
With infinite love and deep sadness, we announce the passing of Christopher (CJ) Foy, on the evening of December 13, 2021. Cj passed away at home at the age of 37, surrounded by his family and close friends.
Cj was born in Grande Prairie on June 1, 1984, to Wayne and Georgia Foy. He was the middle of 3 children. He spent his life growing up in Rainbow Lake, Rocky Mountain House and eventually settled down in Central Alberta. He worked various jobs as a wireline operator all over Alberta. The oil and gas industry were second nature to him, following in his father's footsteps.
His family and friends will forever remember him as a generous soul with a passion for all things space related. Cj was always ready and willing to help anyone in need, he would put all others before himself. Family and friends meant the world to him and were his greatest source of joy.
All who remember CJ, will remember his love for life, his huge smile and enormous laugh and his desire to make everything fun. The room would light up the second he walked in. He had a 1 in a million personality and a heart of gold.
Cj will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him, especially by his partner Alexis, his son Braydon. His parents Wayne and Renilda, brothers Corey and Jordan, and sisters Melissa (Julian) and Richelle. All his aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Cj was predeceased by his mother Georgia, his sister-in-law, Elaine, and his grandparents, Theo and Helen Foy, and Margaret and James Hall.
