ROGOSKI

Clara

1935 - 2014

Our beloved wife, sister and aunt, Clara Elizabeth Avis Rogoski passed away, surrounded by her family, at the Rosefield Centre, Innisfail, Alberta on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the young age of 78 years. Clara was born on July 23, 1935 at Round Hill, Alberta. She later moved to Camrose, Alberta, where she met and married her first husband, Albert Rogoski. Due to a transfer with her job at Woolworths, Clara moved to Red Deer, Alberta. Here she met her second husband, Joe Parisienne. Clara was a dedicated employee and up until her retirement, she tirelessly worked at the Mountview, Millerdale and Bishops Drug Stores. She made many lifelong friendships with the staff and always greeted the customers with her happy cheerful nature and the beautiful smile she will always be remembered for. Clara cherished the many wonderful times spent with her friends and family at events, reunions, dining out, road trips, camping, canoeing, fishing and bird hunting. Clara enjoyed a glass of 'spirits' once in a while and will be fondly remembered for raising her glass and calling out 'Hoy'! Though Clara did not have any children of her own, she dearly loved her many nieces and nephews and then their children. She also loved her dogs; Skippy, CJ, JC and Dollie. Clara's kind and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joe Parisienne of Innisfail, her sister, Gladys Kuzyk of Leduc, Alberta, brother-in-law, Warden Robinson of Red Deer, her niece and goddaughter, Debbie Pankratz of Red Deer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Clara was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Rogoski, her parents, Louis and Carrie Henry, sisters, Margie Steiner and Lorraine Robinson, brothers-in-law, Tony Steiner and Nick Kuzyk, a niece, Wanda Kuzyk and nephews, Danny Robinson and Randy Steiner. A Celebration of Clara's Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Clara's honor may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society at www.alzheimer.ca or to the Red Deer and District S.P.C.A. at www.reddeerspca.com.
