WILKINS Clare 1911 - 2009 Clare Madeline Wilkins (nee Frizzell) passed away at Golden Eagle View Long Term Care Unit in Canmore on July 10, 2009, after a fabulous 98 years of life. Pre-deceased by son Gordon Abbott, she leaves son Doon Wilkins, his wife Linda, grandson Josh, granddaughters Glynnis and Erica and great granddaughter Amber. Through the 50’s and 60’s Clare spent her working life in Red Deer where, she ran Clare’s Beauty Shop, a Red Deer landmark where ladies could sing the blues, learn the news and come out better looking than when they went in.
