NORRIS Clarence Arthur Norris of Lacombe passed away on August 5th at the age of 85. Clarence was born in the Chigwell district and lived on various farms in the area until the passing of his mother in 1966 when he moved to Clive to live on his own. From there he moved to the Lacombe Lodge and on to the Lacombe Extended Care Center where he resided for many years. Clarence was pre-deceased by his father Omar Norris (1949), his sister Edna Gale (1951), his mother Teha Norris (1966), his brother Pete Norris (1993), his sister Alice Ross (2001) and his nephew Gerry Ross (1981) and his great, great nephew Colton Pierson (2007). Clarence is survived by 5 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, 7 great, great nieces and nephews and one great, great, great nephew. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Lacombe Extended Care Centre for the many years of wonderful care they provided Clarence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 11, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe, Alberta.
