Coady HAYDEN

HAYDEN Coady Travis Hayden of Red Deer passed away on February 7th, 2007, at the age of 34 years. Coady was born in Pincher Creek, AB. on January 29th, 1973. He grew up there and went to grade school enjoying reading, sports and spending time with friends. He graduated from the University of Alberta in  1995. Coady was married to JoAnne in June of 1996. He loved and cherished JoAnne with all his heart. He became a father in February, 1998 and again in June of 2000. Coady was so proud of his children and was always trying to teach them things and encourage them in areas that made them happy. Coady was a loyal son and enjoyed spending time with his parents and family.  His parents instilled good values in him which he demonstrated in all he did. Coady was so heroic and courageous in his battle with Epilepsy. He spoke at many groups around Red Deer to try to increase people's knowledge of Epilepsy and what is was like to live with this invisible illness.  Through it all, Coady smiled and always had time for others, including strangers. He was a kind, compassionate, sensitive person who will always be loved and remembered for his teddy bear - like qualities. He is survived by his wife JoAnne & sons Samuel and Niklas Hayden of Red Deer, his parents Terry and Colleen Hayden of Innisfail, sister Tara-Lee (Dan) Burt of Cochrane, sister Lindsay (Davis) Knight of Edmonton, Grandfather Tony Wawro of Regina, Sister-in-Law Becky (Tim) Lang & niece Billie Lang all of Qualicum Beach, BC. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends and memorable acquaintances. Coady was predeceased by his grandparents Marie and Mel Hayden, Grandmother Joan McDougall, Grandmother Ruth Wawro, Grandmother Irene Bartman and friend & mentor Keith. At the family's request, there is a trust fund that has been set up for Samuel and Niklas and donations can be made at any Community Savings, account #53507820. A prayer service will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church on Sunday, February 11th, 2007 at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Red Deer on Monday, Feb 12, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Father George Nellissery officiating.
