CRAWFORD, Corinne Rose 1915 - 2005 Corinne Rose Crawford passed away quietly at Bethany Lodge, Sylvan Lake, Alberta on November 9, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Corinne was born at Stettler, Alberta. Corinne is survived by her son James (Betty Ann) of Calgary; and daughter Dawna (Garry) DeLeeuw of Sylvan Lake. Corinne was the proud and loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren, Aaron and Douglas DeLeeuw and Corinne and John Crawford. She is survived by her sisters Charlotte Storemoen, Ruby Reinberg, Nellie Jacobs, Kathleen Webster and Donna Andritz; one brother Leslie McBride. Corinne was pre- deceased by her husband John Eldred and brothers Jim, Hamilton and Bert as well as her mother Rose and father James McBride. Corinne lived 85 of her years in the Stettler area, working for 20 years in the Post Office, Retiring to her home at Anderson Addition where she enjoyed her garden, and welcoming friends and family during her retirement years. Corinne spent the last five years in Sylvan Lake with Dawna. Corinne will be sadly missed by her family and friends and two special people in her life Alberta Harrison and Shirley Wakefield of Stettler. A Celebration of Corinne's Life will be held at the Chapel of the Stettler Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Corinne's memory to the The Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
