COTTER (THACKER) 1959 - 2007 Valerie Ann Cotter went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 22, 2007, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Stettler, Valerie is survived by her daughter Marina, her mother Lydia, her special niece Gloria, Marina's half sister Katerina, and many aunts, uncles, cousins as well as many very good friends who loved her. She was predeceased by her father Leon and her two brothers; Garry and Wally. Valerie was very interested in health studies and earned many diplomas. A Celebration of Valerie's life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB on Thursday, September 27th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be directed to Parkland Funeral Home for a trust fund for Valerie's daughter, Marina.
