CRUICKSHANKS Mrs. Maria Cruickshanks (nee Enns) of Red Deer, passed away suddenly near Sundre, Alberta on Wednesday, May 10th, 2006 at the age of 56 years. Maria was born at home near Cartwright, Manitoba on December 3, 1949. She married Billie Cruickshanks on December 10, 1966. Maria leaves three children to mourn her passing: Lynn Cruickshanks of Red Deer, Jacquie (Merlin) Ruud of Bentley and Darcy (Nicolle) Cruickshanks of Olds. Her memory will also be treasured by her grandchildren: Cassandra, Char-Lee, Billie, Rayna and a grandchild on the way. Maria will also be dearly missed by her father Henry Enns as well as seven sisters, six brothers and a large but dear extended family .Maria will be missed dearly. She was predeceased by her husband, Billie on November 23, 1987 and her mother, Mary Enns on July 18, 1992 as well as by two infant nephews. Maria Cruickshanks will be fondly remembered as a caring, selfless person who adored her grandchildren, was devoted to her family and loved the outdoors. A celebration of Mrs. Maria Cruickshanks life will be held at the Grace Community Fellowship, 5850 Kerrywood Drive, Red Deer on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at the Bentley Cemetery and a reception at the Bentley Ag Centre.
