BEGGS, Cynthia Mrs. Cynthia Lea (Cindy) Beggs (nee Brenda) of Red Deer, passed away surrounded by all her family at the Peter Lougheed Centre, Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, September 19, 2004 after a courageous battle waiting for a lung transplant at the age of 47 years. Cindy was born on September 7, 1957 at Camrose, Alberta to Rudy and Freda Brenda. At the age of nine, the family moved to Olds, Alberta. After eight years, they moved to Three Hills, where Cindy graduated in 1975. Here, she began her career with the Royal Bank. In 1976, she transferred to Red Deer, holding various positions at several branches. Cindy received her gold watch for twenty-five years of service, leaving in early 2002 due to her illness. Cindy's quiet loving nature was evident, especially in all the things she loved to do; calligraphy and needlepoint work, giving many framed pieces to her family. Later on, Cindy took up scrapbooking, filling albums with baby pictures of their son. She also loved gardening, especially flowers. Cindy will be deeply and sadly missed but forever cherished and lovingly remembered in the hearts of all her family. Cindy leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband, Gary and their son, Michael of Red Deer, her mother, Freda, brothers, Doug and his friend, Kim of Three Hills, Warren and his wife, Lori and children, Jordan and Jessica of Calgary, her sister, Jennifer and husband, Vince Gaudet and children, Katlyn and Davis of Calgary, special aunts, uncle and cousin, Terryl that were dear to her and numerous other relatives and dear friends. Cindy was predeceased by her father in 1998, her grandparents and uncles. Prayers will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, September 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Father Gottfried Seifert celebrant. Interment will be held at the Three Hills Cemetery, Three Hills, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Cindy's honour may be made directly to the Alberta Lung Association, P.O.
