Daniel Anson Lawrence passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the age of 92. He was born on August 11, 1931, to Gladys and Cecil "Sykes." Growing up, Dan shared his childhood with his two brothers, John (later married Marjorie) and Richard "Dick" (later married Mary). He was preceded in death by his brother Dick, at an early age. In 1954, Daniel was blessed with the arrival of his daughter, Elizabeth "Marie," who sadly passed away in 2007, and a few years later, in 1957, Dan was blessed with his son David. In 1978, Dan married Phyllis Murray, and together they embarked on a journey filled with love, laughter, and shared experiences. This union brought together two families—Dan's children, Marie (David) and David, and Phyllis's children, Cyril (Rose), Wayne, Patricia (Paul), and Darcy (Lisa). Dan and Phyllis went on to share many cherished moments with their shared children and spouses, grandchildren and spouses, and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Deer Park Alliance Church, 2960 - 39 St, Red Deer AB.
