Daniel "Dan" William Couper, 65 passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 in Lacombe, Alberta. He was born March 13th, 1952 to William and Viola Couper in Lacombe, Alberta.

Dan was born, raised, lived and worked in and around the surrounding area his entire life. Dan enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing and the open road while riding his Harley Davidson.

Dan is survived by his daughter Raylene (Barry) Paulsen of Sherwood Park, three grandchildren Jordan Paulsen, Danielle Sorensen, Jessica Paulsen and five great grandchildren, his two sisters Debbie Eckenswiller of Red Deer and Helen McIntyre of Blackfalds, brother Greg Couper of Clive along with Step son Colin Shotbolt of Vancouver along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Dan was predeceased by both of his parents, sister Donna Couper and former spouse Debbie Couper (Funk).

A Memorial Service will be held at the Lacombe Memorial Centre in Lacombe, Alberta located at 5214 50 Ave, Tuesday, October 17th, 2017 from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

This is an open house event with food and refreshments being served.
