FERREY, Daphne Mabel Daphne Mabel Ferrey of Rocky Mountain House, born July 31, 1922, passed away December 22, 2004 at the age of 82 years. Daphne was born in Rocky Mountain House, the daughter of Will and Annie Strong, early pioneers in the area. She is survived by her son, Geoff and Theresa of Rocky Mountain House; her daughter, Betty Anne and Greg Alexander of Bonnyville, AB; her grandchildren, Anne Ferrey of Edinburgh, Scotland, Will Ferrey of Victoria, BC, Tim Ferrey of Rocky Mountain House, Sam and Grace Ferrey of Rocky Mountain House, and Kate and Matthew Alexander of Bonnyville, AB; her sister, Barbara Bromley of Yellowknife, NWT; and many nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Aubrey; her brother Jack Strong and her sister Betty Hanlan. A Service Of Remembrance for the late Daphne Ferrey will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Rocky Mountain House, on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 2 P.M. with Reverend R. Lemmon officiating. Cremation entrusted to Rocky Mountain Crematorium. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Holy Trinity Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
