RANGER Daryl Stacy 1974 - 2006 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Daryl, dearest loving husband of Janet (Gallant). Daryl passed away peacefully at the Agape Manor Hospice on Saturday, April 1, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Daryl was born in Red Deer, Alberta and raised on a farm. He graduated from River Glen High School before attending Red Deer College. In 1996 Daryl moved to Calgary to study at the University of Calgary. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 1998 and completed his Chartered Accountant designation while working for Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP in Calgary. It was here that Daryl met his future wife Janet and developed many lifetime friendships. Daryl absolutely loved his family and friends. His passions included traveling, playing chess, and spending time with family and friends over a cup of coffee. Daryl was truly a wonderful person with a fabulous laugh and zest for life. He lived his life with such kindness, integrity and compassion that his spirit and love will live on in all who had the pleasure to know him. Daryl was dearly loved and will forever be missed by his parents Raymond (Evelyn) Ranger and June Ranger ( Victor Scott), his brother Jason (Shawn) and their children Makayla, Jordan and Dawson, his step-sisters Melanie (John) Goosens and their family Connor and Kory, and Malory Gessleman. He will also be remembered by his step-brothers Mitch (Fonda) Gessleman and Levi Scott, his grandmother Elizabeth Brown, his mother and father-in-law Vince and Dini Gallant, sister and brother-in-law Danielle Gallant and Jean-Paul Gallant. Daryl was predeceased by his grandparents Lanora and Gaston Ranger, and his grandfather Louis Rhine. Daryl's family express their sincere thanks to the staff of the Agape Manor Hospice for their tremendous support. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827-24 Street S.W. Calgary, Alberta) on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Jack Pereira, Presider. Graveside Service to follow in the "Garden of Peace" at Alto- Reste Cemetery, Red Deer Alberta, on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 1:00 PM.
