The family of Daun Archibald is saddened to announce he lost his battle with cancer on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Strathmore Hospital. Daun is survived by Annette, his wife of 44 years, his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Melanie, and his adored grandchildren Jade and Jesse. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister, Joan Janzen, and brother, Jack Archibald and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Rose and brothers Jim and Doug. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel of Mountain View on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10 am with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the Calgary Health Trust, 11012 Macleod Trail SE, Suite 800, Calgary AB T2J 6A5.
