MARTINS David Roy 1959 - 2009 It is with immense sadness that the family of David Roy Martins announce his sudden passing on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. David was 49 years of age and was only 3 days shy of his 50th birthday. David is survived by his three loving sisters, as well as several nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his loving mother and father. David fought a vibrant, tenacious and courageous battle with kidney disease. He was born and raised in Edmonton, AB, but resided in Red Deer, AB for many years. David was a giant of a man who loved and lived life to the fullest. He was a very special and unique individual in his own right. David will be greatly missed by all of those who came to know and love him. The family of the late David Roy Martins will hold a private service in his memory at a later date in Edmonton, AB.
