PEARSON David Marshall Dave passed away peacefully in hospital in Prince George, BC on December 22, 2007 after a brief illness at the age of 82 years. Dave was born in Red Deer Alberta on February 6, 1925. Dave is predeceased by his mother, father, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Dave is survived by his loving wife Betty of 48 years. Sons Bill (Lorraine) of Kitchener, ON, Bob and Darrell of Edmonton, AB, Peter (Kerry) of Valemount, BC, daughter Sharen (Cliff) of Leduc, AB, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two sisters: Ruby of Edmonton, AB, and Lois of Delburne, AB and numerous nieces and nephews. Dave proudly served with the 14th Army Tank in Calgary until he transferred to the British Navy where he served on the HMS Nabob during WWII. Dave was very proud to be a long time Legion supporter. Dave had a wonderful zest for life which he lead with wit, compassion and love for his family and friends. The family wishes to thank all the Doctors and the wonderful Nurses for the excellent and compassionate care Dave received at PGRH. A Memorial Service will be held in the Prince George Legion lounge on Saturday, January 12 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Legion BR #43 Poppy Fund or your local SPCA.
