RAMAGE David 1926 - 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at the Didsbury Care Centre at the age of 80 years. Dave was born in Edinburgh, Scotland May 19, 1926 and immigrated to Canada at a young age, making his home in Central Alberta. He owned and operated Dave's Sheet Metal both in Red Deer and Calgary. He was a master tin smith for fifty-five years. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anne of fifty-seven years from Crossfield; daughter Carol Wilkie of Calgary; sons, Kevin (Sylvia) Ramage of Balzac, Andrew (Lori) Ramage of Red Deer; grandchildren, Kyla (Darren), Erin (Jake), Jeremy, Ryan, Niamh, Maitland, Langley and great-grandaughter Hudsyn. He is also survived by his brothers, Allen, Eric, Gordon, Donald and Steve; his sisters Kay Douglas and Ann Ramage; half brother Archie Allen as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dave was predeceased by his parents, Ann and Andrew; brothers Angus and Robert; son-in-law Gene and many half brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Didsbury Long Term Care Centre for their wonderful care during Dave's final days. A special thank-you to all the staff and volunteers at the Calgary Rosedale Hospice where Dave spent five months. You are all angels from heaven.
