WOOD Della Mary On May 31, 2009 Della Wood passed away at the age of 63 years. Della is survived by her loving family; husband John 'Jack' Wood; children, Giselle (Ralph) Corsiatto, Jane Spiller (John Lee), Clarence (Cheryl) Kirchner, Leanne (Sandy) deWaal and Lannell Rode; 22 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ed and Faye Allen, Charles and Joanne Allen, Donald and Laurie Allen, Vivian Poppl, Terry and Thane Yeo, Janet and Lee Hamilton, Darlene Allen, Shirley Allen and Betty Allen as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Della was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Virginia Allen and siblings, Lyle Allen, Edna Ilg and Jim Allen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Westerner Park - Frontier Room, Red Deer, Alberta at 2:00 p.m. with luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the Salvation Army or to any charity benefiting underprivileged children.
