CAPICIO Demetrio Aguirre "Demy" It is with immense sadness that the loving family of Demetrio “Demy” Capicio announce his peaceful passing on Friday, September 4, 2009 at Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 73 years. Demy is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Angelita; daughter Leanelle (Marlon) of San Antonio, TX, and his four sons: Gabe (Camela) of Red Deer, AB, Mike (Ciel) of Red Deer, AB, Sam (Louisa) of San Antonio, TX and Dan of Edmonton, AB. Demy’s memory will be cherished forever by his eleven grandchildren: Jordan, Logan, Maegan, Michelle, Melissa, Mailyn, Samuel Louis, Lauren, Sydney, Kylisha and Matthew. Demy also leaves behind is four sisters: Arsenia of the Philippines, Rose (Cecil) of Springbrook, AB, Flora (Don) of Red Deer, AB and Cris of Red Deer, AB. Demy was predeceased by his parents Domingo and Crestita, three brothers, four brothers-in-law and his father-in-law. Demy was born in the Philipines and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1972. He worked at various jobs and then at the Michener Centre for twenty years, from where he retired in 2001. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10th, 2009 between 5:30 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. from Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB with a Prayer Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass for the late Demy Capicio will be held Friday, September 11th, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, #6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, AB with Father Les Drewicki, Celebrant. Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at Alto~Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, County, AB. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation, 1-020 HRIF-East, University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB T6G 9Z9.
