Dennis POTTER

POTTER Dennis Potter, bull and bronc rider, horse trainer extraordinaire, wilderness trapper, fisherman, outfitter and guide, passed suddenly while carrying on his life's work of riding the rough string. Dennis was born June 4, 1946 in Red Deer, AB & raised in Pine Lake. He left us May 27th, 2008 at the young age of 61. Dennis will be sorely missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Joanne, his best friend, partner and right arm. The family, brothers Paul (Pat), Ben (Irene), Jim (Bonnie), Steve (June), and sister Diane (Murray) Colban, sons Kevin (Lisa), Wade (Tammy), Lee (Linda), Doug (Judy), Goodine, daughters Debby Potter, Sharon (Darwin) Gallagher, Lorrie (Bob) Angermeier, 16 grandchildren, two great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews will be hosting a memorial at the Lousana Hall on Sunday, June 22, at 1:00 p.m. The hall is located 26 miles east of Hwy. 2 (2 miles east of Hwy. 21) on #42 (Pine Lake Hwy.). Dennis was predeceased by his father Tom, mother Gertie, grandchildren Justin, Tannis, Sharri, and nephew Ray Potter of Pine Lake.
