SIM, Derek Alexander
Derek Alexander Sim passed away suddenly at home in the early morning hours on Friday, January 19, 2018. He will be remembered as a man who was very family oriented and very social. He could meet and talk to anyone of any age and immediately establish a bond of friendship. His nature was helping. Derek loved his dog, was a tremendous fly fisherman, thrived on camping and coffee. He suffered from an addiction, but he couldn't break free.
Derek will be sadly missed by his parents, Darryl and Diane Sim; sister, Natasha Sim; her sons, Austin and Joseph; sister, Sheena Pike (Trevor Bridge) and their son, Tayvian and daughters, Nakita, Kensli and Trevor's daughter, Annabelle as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of a Funeral Service the immediate family will be having a special Celebration of Derek's Life at a later date. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.myalternatives.ca.
